City commercial offices at 30 Crown Place acquired for £139m
A new property deal has been agreed for City commercial offices close to Liverpool Street train station.

The skyscraper - which is home to law organisation Pinsent Masons, with the remaining 15 per cent occupied by Crown Place Financial - has been bought for £139 million by Hannover Leasing.

Moorgate tube and train station also lies nearby, reflecting the strong transport links that financial and law businesses operating from City offices enjoy.

Around 197,000 sq ft in size, 30 Crown Place in EC2 will house Pinsent Masons until at least 2030, when its 20-year lease expires.

Following the expiration of Crown Place Financial's lease in five years, the law firm currently plans to then take over the entire City offices.

The Square Mile is well serviced by robust transport links, with Liverpool Street train station offering services including to London Stansted Airport and Cambridge.

Furthermore, its tube and Docklands Light Railway connection can get businessmen and women to Canary Wharf in less than 20 minutes, while City Airport - with flights to major financial centres - can be accessed in around half an hour.
