London offices at Westfield Stratford City 'in first phase'
The London offices set to open at Westfield Stratford City are in their first stage of development.

On September 13th, the £1.8 billion east London retail centre opened its doors, with more than four million people within its catchment area.

As well as high street and designer stores, a cinema and other entertainment facilities, the complex will boast 130,000 sq ft of London offices set within a 1.1 million sq ft office precinct.

And with Westfield Stratford City being so close to the site of the Olympics, businesses with a base here are well connected across the capital.

London offices here would be eight minutes away from Liverpool Street in the City and within a 15 minute journey from Canary Wharf via tube and the Docklands Light Railway, both major financial and business centres.

Westfield Group also owns Westfield London and co-chief executive officer of the organisation Steven Lowy asserted that it hopes its "two London centres will be the two top-performing urban centres in Europe, have retail sales of over £2 billion, attract over 50 million consumer visits per annum and create over 25,000 permanent jobs in London".
