A 20-year lease for 6,300 sq ft of space on Pall Mall, SW1, has been agreed by the Royal Automobile Club.
The private members' club, which was established in 1897, has chosen 83 Pall Mall as its new base, Property Magazine International reported.
Chief executive and secretary of the club David Wilkinson said it made the move after feedback from its thousands of members and "the addition of a new business and meeting facility will be a marvellous addition to the existing facilities of the clubhouse, which have been enjoyed by members for over 100 years".
It has rented the new
London offices - which are located on the fourth floor of the 45,000 sq ft building - from Orchard Street Investment Management.
This means the Royal Automobile Club is close to St James's Palace.
In November, it was revealed that Russian investors had purchased commercial property at nearby 50 St James's Street, the former base of the Devonshire Club and the Jamaican High Commission.
