Mellersh & Harding have successfully let the entire
office building at 40 Park Street, following a short marketing campaign. The
property, which was formerly the headquarters of Residential Land was
refurbished by the Landlords, with the aim of providing short-term offices of
up to 6,000 sq ft, arranged over basement, ground and five upper floors.
Ralph & Russo Ltd., one of Britain’s first couture
companies have taken the entire building as their fashion headquarters, having already
had a retail presence in places like Harrods, Paris etc.
The company has taken a flexible lease, initially for a
period of 3 years, subject to a break option after the second year, at a rent
equivalent to over £72.00 per sq ft overall.
The Landlords also have a break after the second year, with
the object of selling their long leasehold investment, which Mellersh &
Harding are marketing; of interest to owner occupiers, residential developers
etc.
