Hammersmith has been selected as the new location for the
London offices of BBC Magazines.
The organisation is to move from 80 Wood Lane in White City to the west London premises at a rent of around £35 per sq ft, CoStar News revealed.
Located at Vineyard House at 44 Brook Green, the new BBC Magazine headquarters comprises 60,000 sq ft of space.
There are approximately 400 staff working on titles such as Gardeners' World, Lonely Planet and the Radio Times at the current Wood Lane site, the publication added.
BBC Magazines - the third biggest consumer magazine organisation in the UK in terms of retail sales value - was purchased by private equity group Exponent in 2011.
Chief executive officer of BBC Worldwide John Smith commented at the time: "The consumer magazines market faces a number of challenges and this transaction brings a focus and degree of investment that BBC Worldwide alone is unable to provide."
