Property Week reports that Crawley Council has shortlisted 3 developers for a proposed redevelopment of the town centre. The Council has chosen Stanhope Delancey subsiduary Centros with Bellmont Securities and Lendlease for the town centre north redevelopment. It is understood that the Council is considering reducing the scale of the scheme however any redevelopment is believed to be contingent on John Lewis agreeing to open a department store.

Crawley continues to attract companies seeking well located and modern office premises. Nestlé’s recent move from Croydon to Manor Royal, Crawley was a boost for the local market.
