Global integrated property group, Goodman has agreed a 23,543 sq ft letting to Emirates, one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, at
Manchester Business Park. The company will occupy the entirety of Building 1000 in September, once its fit-out has been completed.
Emirates has a global reputation for excellence, flying to 142 destinations in 80 countries across six continents. As part of its UK operations, Emirates also connects millions of people each year through its tour-operating arm Emirates Holidays and its cargo division Emirates SkyCargo. In Manchester, Emirates is expanding its customer service operations, relocating from its current offices in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
The new office will be capable of supporting up to 300 of its multilingual employees, who speak more than 20 different languages. James Raven, Development Director, Goodman UK Business Parks said: “Emirates' decision to move to Manchester Business Park is a great endorsement for the Park’s modern, adaptable office space, the local amenities and the region.
The Park’s unrivalled location, next to Manchester’s thriving international airport, will provide the ideal backdrop for Emirates’ expanding workforce and its service offering. Emirates joins a number of prestigious companies already based at Manchester Business Park including PZ Cussons and Ericsson, and we look forward to welcoming its team later this year.”
Manchester Business Park is a unique business location, offering customers state of the art office facilities. Exceptional transport links at regional, national and international levels provide the perfect environment for large organisations and all those wishing to grow. CBRE and P3 Property Consultants advised Goodman on the letting. Mellersh & Harding advised Emirates.
