Native Lands’ Proposed Development at 29-30 Old Burlington Street is moving forward according to CoStar Group this week. Their plans will create apartments and galleries together with a new arcade with public art running through to Cork Street, the first Mayfair arcade to be built since the 1930s. This is another example of office accommodation being taken out of the local market and further high end residential accommodation being created.

Whilst recent reports suggest that Westminster Council are reviewing their planning policy on change of use from offices to residential, a number of office buildings are presently making the change.

Residential conversion is particularly relevant for period office buildings with high ceilings and large open plan floors. However it does mean that the supply of small West End office floors is diminishing.

We continue to deal with many offices to let in the West End, particularly offices in St James’s and Victoria. Demand remains buoyant yet the number of suitable office floors is diminishing.

If you are searching for offices to rent in Mayfair or offices to rent in St James’s then please do let us know. We have a wide selection to show you. Back
