Prime City offices continue to make the news this week with Co-Star reporting that a further 60,000 sq ft of offices at Land Securities and Canary Wharf Group’s Walkie-Talkie office in the City has gone under offer to insurer Kiln Group. The suggestion is the rent is in excess of £60 per sq ft. Completion of the building is anticipated in early 2014 and when complete will provide floor plates of between 14,000 sq ft and 28,000 sq ft.

It is reported that City office lettings are being buoyed by occupiers in the insurance sector who are looking around for new office space ahead of lease expiries over the next couple of years. Back
